Dawn is CEO and Partner at Truehelm and has been with the firm for 14 years. A longtime healthcare operator, she brings more than two decades of experience across healthcare financing, tech-enabled services, and care delivery. She is known for helping companies and leadership teams unlock their full potential.

Before joining Truehelm, Dawn spent 15 years at UnitedHealth Group in executive leadership roles, culminating in five years as CEO of OptumHealth. During her tenure, OptumHealth delivered strong growth and broad market recognition by building deep partnerships with employer, payer, and provider clients anchored in insight, innovation, and execution. She strengthened culture, sharpened mission focus, and expanded into healthcare financing and care delivery, supporting early moves toward value-based care and consumer engagement. Prior to OptumHealth, she held executive positions within UnitedHealthcare and OptumInsight, giving her a broad perspective across health benefits and data- and insight-driven healthcare services.

Dawn serves on the boards of Truehelm portfolio companies Accanto, CareConnectMD, MacroHealth, Wildflower Health, InHome Therapy, and Collaborating Docs, and previously served on the boards of Remedy Partners (acquired by Signify), Navvis, and InformedDNA. At Truehelm, she serves on the Investment Committee and the Risk & Compliance, Valuation, and ESG Committees.

Dawn holds a B.A. in International Business and German from Grove City College and is a member of the Executive Committee of its Board of Trustees.
