Ryan is a Partner at Truehelm. He is a member of Truehelm’s investment team, responsible for day-to-day management, deal execution, and portfolio management. He joined Truehelm in 2015 and serves on a variety of Truehelm’s committees, including the Investment Committee, Valuation Committee, and ESG Committee.

Ryan has over 20 years of experience leading investments and M&A transactions spanning private equity funds, a global investment bank, and the strategy function of a large, multinational corporation. He has extensive experience actively working with portfolio company management teams and leading transactions, both as an advisor and an investor. Ryan currently sits on the boards of Truehelm’s portfolio companies Cantata Health, CareConnectMD, Collaborating Docs, and Propio Language Services. He previously served on the boards at Updox, Audacious Inquiry, MedZed, NextHealth Technologies, and Navvis (observer).

Prior to joining Truehelm, Ryan worked in private equity for Lindsay Goldberg and Norwest Mezzanine Partners, where he evaluated and executed acquisitions of buyout targets in a variety of industries. He began his career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley, serving in New York, São Paulo, and Chicago. He was also a leader in the corporate development group at Cargill, a $130 billion corporation focused globally on the food, agricultural, and financial sectors.

Ryan earned a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
