Karen is the Corporate Controller for Truehelm. She is responsible for financial reporting activities, financial statement preparation and analysis, general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and oversight and processing of payroll and benefits. Karen joined the firm in 2017.

Karen has nearly 15 years of professional experience in private sector accounting and finance. Prior to joining Truehelm, Karen was an Accounting Supervisor for the agricultural supply chain at Cargill, Inc., where she supported the export grain division working in Texas and Minnesota. Before that, she supported the company’s industrial specialty business; and she began her career at Cargill as an intern at the Finance Service Center in Fargo, ND. 

Karen earned a B.A. with a major in Business Management and a minor in Spanish from Concordia College–Moorhead. While at Concordia she completed a semester abroad at the University of Malta and a soccer seminar in São Paulo, Brazil.
